Paul Jeffcoate

Solicitor

Experience

Paul Jeffcoate has 12 years’ experience as a solicitor, with the majority of that time spent as a specialist Employment Lawyer.

Paul qualified at a top rated law firm in London and has since had a varied career, mostly in private practice but he has also worked in the public sector.

Paul has substantial experience of advising small and medium sized companies (SMEs) and can provide assistance on the full range of employment matters, from drafting contracts, handbooks and policies, to advising on Employment Tribunal (ET) and Employment Appeal Tribunal claims (EAT). Paul has advocated personally on behalf of clients in both the ET and the EAT, which can represent a significant saving compared to the costs of instructing a barrister.

Paul has worked for both employers and employees and therefore has the important knowledge and experience from ‘both sides of the fence’ so as to effectively and efficiently advise businesses when issues arise in the workplace.

In Paul’s own words:

“It is vital to me to get to know a business and its owners to ensure that the advice I provide is carefully tailored to the needs of each individual client. I very much share the ethos of LawBite, which is that SMEs should be able to access top quality legal advice in both a timely and cost effective manner. I really enjoy working with business owners and managers in order to assist their businesses to avoid employment related problems arising, or effectively resolving them when they do.”
