Eva Daboh

Solicitor

Experience

Eva qualified as a solicitor in 2000 and has since built up a wealth of experience in all aspects of commercial real estate law, gained from working within top city firms, regional heavyweights and local authorities.   Eva has represented various types of commercial clients.  She specialises in negotiating, advising on and drafting a wide range of property agreements that businesses and individuals enter into on a daily basis.  Examples include:

  • Sale and Purchase Agreements
  • Conditional Sale Agreements
  • Option Agreements
  • Commercial Leases
  • Pre-Emption Agreements
  • Licences and Deeds
  • Overage Agreements
  • Property Finance
  • Development Agreements
  • Promotion Agreements

In Eva's own words:

"I have found working with SMEs to be extremely rewarding as I am able to have a direct impact on the growth of the business.  The fact that I have launched several SMEs myself means that I understand the challenges that they face and the fact that they may not have the financial resources available to larger entities.  The other advantage is that I am able to provide them with commercial advice which will generally be absorbed directly by the individuals making the decisions.”

Education

  • International Compliance Association (Advanced Certificate in Legal Compliance) - 2016
  • The College of Law, London (Legal Practice Course) - 1997
  • University of London, Kings College (LLB (Hons) Law) - 1996

Achievements

Advising on a number of PFI schemes, specifically NHS LIFT in which I solely headed the property aspects of the transaction on Barking and Havering LIFT.  This was the third LIFT project to close nationally (out of 47) and was the first to achieve its second financial close.  Barking and Havering LIFT was the inaugural winner of the Best Joint Venture LIFT Established Award in 2004, awarded as part of the Public Private Finance Awards.
