John Gordon

Prior to joining a large national firm as a partner, John's legal career took him through over a decade of practice as a barrister in London, specialising in commercial litigation and negligence claims.

With more than 30 years of experience in commercial dispute resolution, John has consistently handled cases of varying scales, primarily assisting SMEs, small businesses, individuals, and partnerships.

He has represented individuals and businesses in various areas, including business and share sales, contract and partnership disputes, professional negligence claims, financial claims, and building disputes.  John also specialises in property matters, including general contractual disputes, 1954 Act renewals, break notices and right of way, easement, adverse possession and title disputes.

John understands how to run a business and assess the impact a dispute will have commercially. He has run his own businesses and acted as a non-exec director of a London-listed construction PLC for 16 years. John has also been a partner in national firms of solicitors, including heading up commercial litigation departments.
