Arjun Majumdar is a commercial contracts and privacy (GDPR) lawyer with 8 years’ cumulative experience in private practice and in-house.
Arjun trained with, and qualified at, a medium-sized regional corporate commercial legal practice where he was given high responsibility from the get-go. He worked with a variety of commercial clients ranging from large household names (like a fast-food delivery franchise and a popular comparison website) to local SMEs.
He then went in-house where he first worked as legal counsel within the exciting world of sports data before moving to a children’s entertainment production company making the swift transition from start-up to scale-up.
With a specialism in privacy and data protection, Arjun’s experience includes a particular focus on GDPR gap analysis and implementing policies and procedures to ensure businesses are geared towards GDPR compliance. He also deals with routine data protection enquiries such as advising on data access requests and reviewing data processing clauses.
Arjun has worked on a wide variety of commercial contracts, including website/platform/app T&Cs, services agreements, website/app development and hosting contracts, marketing and sponsorship agreements, B2C T&Cs, social media influencer contract terms, consultancy agreements, NDAs, SaaS T&Cs, software and data licences, T&CS for the supply of products and framework agreements.
